High-Precision Drilling SPM for PCD 3 mm and Vertical 1.5 mm Operations

The Drilling SPM for PCD 3 mm and Vertical 1.5 mm operations is designed with a heavy-duty fabricated machine structure to ensure stability and long-term performance. The machine body is built with sheet metal fabrication and reinforced with extra internal ribs to strengthen the structure and support all X-axis movements. 


It includes precision drilling heads with slides and a 4-spindle multi-drilling head, allowing efficient and accurate drilling. The slide system is servo-controlled, featuring XYZ slides for PCD drilling and a dedicated Z-axis slide for 1.5 mm vertical drilling. High-quality LM guideways and ball screws ensure smooth and precise motion, while the 2 HP AC spindle motor (CG or equivalent) provides reliable power for consistent drilling performance.


The machine is equipped with a robust pneumatic clamping fixturing system to securely hold the workpiece during operation. Pneumatic valves and cylinders ensure firm and stable clamping, improving machining accuracy and repeatability. Supporting blocks and sensors are integrated to monitor operations effectively. The machine also includes tool breakage sensors combining both physical and electrical detection for enhanced process reliability. Additionally, an automatic oil lubrication system is provided for machine slides to ensure smooth movement and reduce maintenance.


For automation and control, the system features PLC and servo controls, ensuring user-friendly operation and precise machine control. Additional features include a machine lamp for operator visibility and industrial cables for reliable connectivity.
