Multi Spindle Drilling and Tapping machine for small parts where thousands of parts to be manufactured in hours, it will be a challenge. This machine is such kind of BEAST which can manufacture approx 25 to 30 parts in a minute.
High volume parts manufacturing with Drilling and Chamfering for M6 tap, another drill of Dia 3 mm and M6 tap.
To produce the parts in High Volume, the machine has 5 spindles, so it does all the operations simultaneously. The complete machine is designed in a Rotary table that all the operations Drilling Chamfering another drilling and M6 tapping is done simultaneously in each station. Thus it finishes 5 parts every cycle.
The Drilling heads and the tapping heads moves up and down with servo slide and the drilling heads spindles are directly driven by a AC motor tapping heads spindle rotation is through servo motor.
Tapping Head give a perfect Synchronise of the pitch movement between Spindle rotation and the feed of forward and reverse. So this Tapping Machine is a Pitch Controlled Tapping Machine.
Operator needs to keep the components in the machine fixture, all other operations Drilling & amp; Chamfering and Drilling and finally M6 Tapping is done automatically and after all this operations the machine fixtures cleaning is done automatically. The operator just slides the part inside the machine fixture. So you can have a semi skilled operator in this machine.
The machine has all kinds of sensors for deducing to tool breakage and tool Life End control system.
