The connecting rod CAP as Cast condition, is fixed in a Fixture which is clamped with Hydraulics, and a cutting tool that is moved into the cap to remove material. The machine spindle feed is controlled with Servo system and ensure that the bore is the correct size and shape. Connecting rod cap boring machines also have complete safety of machine with boring tool brakage sensors.
